Randa was born and raised in Lebanon. She has a Diplome Superiure in Painting from the Institut des Beaux Arts/ Lebanese University. She taught art at the college level for five years before immigrating to the US. Randa did Independent Studies in Printmaking at the University of Washington where she was exposed to papermaking and bookbinding. Randa expresses her ideas in many forms including etching, painting, bookmaking and paper arts.
Randa is also a certified yoga teacher, a gourmet cook and a gardener. She lives in Maple Valley with her husband Brian, their son Brandon, Heidi an Australian shepherd, Pablo the cat and Mr. Chang, a Siberian tortoise.
