artEAST, a non-profit organization made up of artists and art supporters, is
dedicated to making the arts an integral part of life in our community. Whether
we are viewing an exhibition, or learning a new technique or expressing our own
creativity, art enriches our lives.
artEAST's approach to filling this need is three-fold, while its ultimate goal
is singular.
-
Hold regular art exhibitions, exposing our friends and neighbors to art
work created by local artists, as well as bringing in exciting work from
elsewhere.
-
Offering ongoing workshops: We are developing a cadre of artists who are keen
to share their expertise with others.
-
Our third goal is to grow the artistic spirit in our community by creating the
space and environment in which creativity can flourish.
By taking these individual small steps, we are building a solid
foundation from which our artEAST programs can grow.
Which brings us to our ultimate goal of securing an Art Center. We envision
a place which will offer art exhibitions, arts education and studio space all
under one roof. Our Center will be a place to nurture the visual arts in our
community through exhibiting, teaching and creating art.
We welcome and invite you to join us!
