I like looking at a space, then designing a metal art piece that is 'right' for that space. When a fun project comes along, I want to be there.

Though my welding skills cover the basics in stick, mig and tig, my application of these processes helps to create unique metal art. I've welded pieces that look like wood, water, rocks, plants, people, animals, and other items found in nature.

I enjoy working with other artists. I contribute energy and enthusiasm, willing to explore any item or project to its full potential.

I currently hold membership in Write-on-Calligraphers, ArtEast, Featherstone Art Center, Maple Valley Arts and Kent Downtown Partnership. My background includes Green River College Welding Program, Pratt Art Institute for selected classes, and private design instruction by B.J. Hargrove. I am on the Welding Advisory Board for Green River College and participate fully in their program.

I am lucky to have permanent pieces in about 6 states, while my heart remains local, with many permanent pieces in shops and events in local cities. Experiencing creativity and art is an energizing adventure. The projects that I like the most are the ones that start with 'I wonder if....?'...and then trying it.
