An emerging Pacific Northwest glass artist, Jon grew up in Issaquah Washington graduating from High School in 2005. His senior year was spent working days as a glass blowing apprentice in Seattle while completing his education at night. Since graduation Jon has been working full time as part of Seattle glass artist Martin Blank's team contributing to significant glass art creations. Jon continued his education at the Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle studying glassblowing, figure drawing, blacksmithing, welding and assisting Pratt's visiting glass artists. Jon's current work demonstrates his own evolving style, technique and exciting interpretation of the vibrant Seattle glass art community.
Jon is enrolled at the California College of the Arts and will pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in glass beginning in fall of 2007.
