Originally an Art Major, Julie Rackley returns to her artistic roots, begun at Long Beach State University in California. Born in Canada, Julie lived in several different states, but spent most of her early years in California. Travels through out Europe, and to Hong Kong and Japan shaped her art aesthetic, and developed her love of painting.
She moved to Oak Harbor in 1982 and graduated from the MBA program at the UW in 1990. She has her own interior design business, Rackley Design, and is looking forward to pursuing her painting. The title of her current painting series is Spheres.
