I was born and raised in Seattle to an artistic family and have been able to appreciate all of what the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Although I sketched and painted at a very early age, I had no formal training until college in 1992 where I studied everything from color theory to art history. I have been devoted to the arts all my life and have worked in such mediums as watercolors, pottery, charcoal, graphite, sculpture, oil & acrylic painting, photography, ink, and glass. After a back injury that left me unable to work for nearly a year, I decided to transition from the field of photography and start a career in law. I have worked in the legal field for nearly 7 years and am currently attending night school in hopes to obtain my J.D. After 34 years, I have finally found the artistic freedom I so dearly needed.
