Sara Sayles, pictured here with her son, John, comes to artEAST with a tremendous background and enormous enthusiasm for the meaning and mission of this organization.

Recently, Sara retired from a career in city government administration and celebrated with 3 weeks in the Austrian and Bavarian Alps. She is a long time Board Member of the Meadowbrook Farm Preservation Association, another non-profit 501(3)c, that is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of over 460 acres of historic and scenic open space in the Snoqualmie Valley. She was also recently appointed to the 4Culture Historic Preservation Advisory Committee.

Sara is passionate about history, historic preservation, open space conservation, dancing, swimming, collecting, gardening, cooking and caring for her country home adjacent to Squak Mountain State Park in May Valley.
